Modified on Tue, 24 Jun at 3:02 PM

Step 1- Visual Inspection for Obvious Damage:

Bulging/Leaking Capacitors: These are a very common failure point, especially on older boards. If you see them, they need to be replaced.

Step 2- Repair: This requires desoldering the old capacitor and soldering in a new one of the exact same capacitance (uF) and voltage rating, ensuring correct polarity.

Step 3 check for bent CPU socket pins

Step 4- BIOS Chip Replacement/Reprogramming: a corrupted BIOS can cause boot issues

Step 5- if you have complex Issues and If the problem isn't obvious and you don't have specialized tools or knowledge, seek a professional diagnosis
