1) Check volume levels: Ensure the master volume, application volume, and any speaker/headphone volume controls are turned up and not muted. 


2) Check output device: Make sure the correct audio device (speakers, headphones, etc.) is selected in your device's sound settings. 


3) Restart your device: This can often resolve temporary audio driver glitches.


4) Try different speakers/headphones: To rule out a hardware issue with your audio output device. 


5) Update audio drivers: Outdated or corrupted audio drivers are a common cause. Visit your computer manufacturer's website or the audio chip manufacturer's for the latest drivers.
