Setting up a new internet connection

1). Choose Your Internet Service: Evaluate your needs, Research providers, select a plan. 


2). Acquire Equipment: Router & ethernet cables


3). Connect the router: connect the ethernet cable from the modem to the routers WAN/internet port. Connect the router power cable to a power outlet. Turn on the router and wait for it to initialize.


4). Set up your network: Access the router admin page (Ways to access found in manual) Configure WIFI settings create a wi-fi network name (SSID). Set a password for your Wi-Fi network Configure other settings (such as security options or parental controls).


5). Connect your devices: Go to your devices networks settings and select your network. Enter your Wi-Fi password.
