How to plug in a HDMI Cable?

Modified on Mon, 23 Jun at 4:55 PM

1) Locate the HDMI Ports

Find the HDMI input port(s) on the back or side of your TV.

Also locate the HDMI output port on your device (laptop, console, etc.).

2) Plug in the HDMI Cable

Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port on your device.

Plug the other end into one of the HDMI IN ports on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).

3) Turn on the Devices

Power on your TV.

Turn on the device you just connected.

 4) Select the HDMI Input on the TV

Using your TV remote, press the Input, Source, or AV button.

Choose the HDMI input that matches the port you used (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).

 5) Check Display

You should now see your device’s screen or home screen on the TV.

If there's no signal, double-check the cable connection and the correct input source.
