Step 1:Open your router's configuration page.
Step 2:Find your router's admin username and password(Usually on the router itself but if not search for your router's model name and "default password").
Step 3:Open the wireless, WIFI, or Network section.
Step 4: Go to the box in the Network section labeled "password and enter your new password.
Step 5:Check your security type and ensure it is secure(WPA3 is recommended).
Step 6:Change the network name if you haven't already and make sure you don't add any personally identifiable info to it as it is public.
Step 7: Save your settings by clicking the save or apply button.
